Great holiday, great house, Nice swimming pool, very friendly hosts. We had a blast!

HOSTS: Extremely nice. Our group loves to play petanque. The petanque court has no trees around so it bakes under the sun (and heat!) during the day; impossible to play until the evening. So Ludwig & Marie installed night-lights for us to play in the evening. They went above and beyond for us. HOUSE: Very spacious with a bunch of rooms; ideal for large groups. CLEANLINESS: Excellent. LOCATION: Nestled in a small village in the middle of nowhere. Ideal if you want to disconnect from the world. WIFI: Great in some rooms (i could do zoom calls without issue), less so in others. Allocate rooms according to your work needs. AMENITIES: Petanque court, large pool, laundry, dishwasher, easy parking, etc. You may arrange bath towels and linen for an extra fee. Just remember to bring your own soap/shampoo. OVERALL, our group of 10 had an excellent stay. The house met our needs and we fell in love with Marie & Ludwig. I hope our paths will cross again.

We were visiting Fabrezan for a friends wedding and found this place to be amazing and just what we needed. There were 11 of us in total and Marie could not do enough for us! The rooms were all clean with air con and two flats fitted with their own kitchen. We arrived on a Sunday and everything was closed so Marie hosted us in the restaurant and made amazing food!! The lamb shank was one of the best meals we had! The villa is a short 35 minute drive into Carcassonne town which is incredible. I would recommend hiring a car as although there is a restaurant on site there isn’t anything else in walking distance. The villa was easy to find and 1 hour and 30 minute drive from Toulouse Airport. We will definitely be returning for another break at this villa! We had full access to all the facilities and were no noise restrictions for being in the pool at night! Thank you again Marie!

I have to say that despite the misfortunes we incurred on the way to the property and the delays that our children experienced thanks to a less than helpful airline, the welcome and overall treatment by Marie and her partner for the week of our stay was better than we could have expected. The property and surroundings are amazing and the owners could not do enough for us. We will certainly be returning and looking forward to some more wonderful family times. Thank you for all your kindness and understanding.
