Grande maison avec piscine en bord de Cher

The house was super and stylish with plenty of space and things to do. Loved the garden and pool as well as Petanque. There was a generous amount of "essentials" provided such as soaps, shower gels, basic food stuffs and washing liquids etc (I often find I have to buy these on arrival) and we were encouraged to help ourselves to the tomatoes and fruit growing there. Alexandre was very welcoming and helpful. We all loved exploring the area and didn't have to go far if we didn't want to, particularly enjoying the guinguette nearby. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 is because we had some very hot weather some of the time and then it proved impossible to sleep upstairs but that was the only drawback. It was a great place to stay!

Good location close to river and the main street in Saint-Avertin close to Tours. The backyard in very nice with the pool and the Bocce Ball court. The house is very spacious and the art on the walls in beautiful. The only negative point was that there is only one bathroom on the second floor, and it is far away from the master bathroom close to the Master bedroom. Overall, we had a very good stay.
