Grande maison de campagne indépendante - 12 personnes - charme et calme

We had a great stay in this house, Le Moulin. What a nice home. It's well equipped, cosy and nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The view is fabulous. The kids loved the ping pong table as well. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We love the house and we love Normandy. We definitely want to come back!

Everything was perfect. From the smooth communication prior to our visit, to the check in and quality of the property. Stunning layout, clean throughout and the grounds and old mill stream were stunning. I would highly recommend this property

Claire , the owner was such a delight to deal with well organised prompt and efficent, house is large very stylish and in a delightful grounds, good selection of outdoor dining and chairs etc. Arrival dierctions were hard to follow, but worth it when we got there(sat nav didnt help much) the House is set on three levels ( not ideal with anyone with mobility issues) and the main lounge is a large and interesting room with a mill race running past the rear window. Thought overall the house was good value for money in a beautiful setting our family of eight had a great time and we were lucky with scorching weather. The Mill at Fierville-Bray is an idyllic get away home. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful expanse of green grain fields with a large stand of trees to the east of the house and a stream that runs behind the house that used to turn the mill wheel. Inside, the rustic character of the building's original purpose is maintained throughout the comfortably refurbished living areas. We felt like we were experiencing a piece of history. We were well provided with nice linens and towels and had all the modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms that we needed. The mill is located only a short distance from Caen with convenient highway access. We had no problem getting around in our rental car to the various sites we wanted to see. Each evening we were grateful to return to the peaceful setting of the mill. We were so glad we chose to stay outside the larger cities and got to experience the charm of one of the small villages that dot the Normandy countryside.

We were a party of 11 including kids. The house itself is lovely, plenty of space so no one ever got on top of each other. The house is in a small village so very peacful, it's a 5 min drive from some small local shops and 10 mins from a larger supermarket. The owner was great, good communication before our trip and during the holiday to make sure our stay was going well. Overall a great holiday in a beautiful, well kept house.

A group of 8 ( aged between 39 and 45) , us stayed at Le Moulin over the D-Day 70th commemoration weekend. The property is superb, all modern facilities and everything very well presented and looked after. The conversion that the owners undertook to the old millhouse is beautiful. The location is stunning with rolling fields to the rear, a peaceful rural environment yet all required amenities close on hand. As a base for exploring the Normandy coast and further inland, or simply lounging around, it was excellent. The owners were always incredibly helpful and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend for large groups.
