Grande Maison de famille, 12pers, Piscine privée, Vallée du Lot & Bastides

😊: The villa was a joy - renovated and decorated in the last few years and the wonderful high ceilings were good in the extreme heat we had when staying. We were three families with two children + an old friend and another younger friend with two children joined us for a week. The house layout is unusual, but worked brilliantly for us, with the second kitchen used solely for the children and the other for the adults. I was concerned there were only two lavatories, but there was never a problem. Elisabeth was SUCH a lovely 'host' - available for any query and the odd hiccup was sorted swiftly. We made a few suggestions which she received very positively. The outside area, straight from the dining hall and under trees was a lovely spot most of the day and the pool was brilliant, with the laden fig trees an added bonus!. 😢: There wasn't really anything we didn't like! We discovered our own morning walking routes from the Villa - a walking route booklet might have helped..

😊: Phillipe and Elizabeth were great hosts. Our family really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the French country side. and the lovely big house was ideal for all our family. The town is just a short drive and had all the facilities we needed..
