Grande Maison en bord de Seine, 1h 15de Paris

😊: The location was good as easy for shops and train stations into Paris and Rouen, the view of the river was also a highlight. 😢: Unsafe flooring on balcony and flooring by steps leading to the garden, they were lifting and also a lot not fixed down at all, we had family in their 70’s with not great mobility and this made it extremely unsafe for them, broken and wearing furniture, in fact the deckchair material was not attached correctly and I fell through it, almost all garden furniture needs replaced as unsafe and very old, shower flooding due to blocked drain from hair, soaps in all the toilets and bathrooms were old and used, no beds made on arrival so we had to make them, fridge had owners food in it which made it difficult for us (as a group of 9) to fit our food in also freezer had owners food in bottom draw so again limited space, there was also owners food in cupboards reducing space for our food which again made it challenging for us and we had to leave food in shopping bags on the kitchen floor. Garden was very overgrown, the photos that are shown were clearly taken many years ago as you can see from the condition of the garden and the furniture. No wardrobe or draws in the bedrooms, the main bedroom did have a wardrobe but again filled with the owners cloths and shoes, two of the double beds are very low almost on the floor again making it difficult for older people to use. There was no manual for the house so we found it difficult to know how anything worked or where things were located, we would have been in trouble if we had need any medical attention as there was also no numbers for this, the owner did email but that was more about the local area than the house..

😊: Big house with 5 rooms which can be shared with friends. Everything you need is provided: sheets, towels etc Fully equipped kitchen Garden with view and access to the Seine. Large dining area. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend any group of friends this place.. 😢: Although the house has 5 rooms, 1 room is connecting and the 2nd bathroom is at the rear end of both rooms. Which means you have to pass those two bedrooms to get to the bathroom. Wasn't an issue for us but could be for others. I wouldn't recommend to fill every bed and sofa. They are not all super comfy. I think 5 couples and 1 extra person should work..
