Guaranteed relaxation: swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, wooded park near Paris

We just spent the easter weekend there as a group of 9; 6 adults and 3 kids (aged 9 to 5). The property itself is beautiful and picturesque of a french villa. The added bonus of an indoor pool, with hot tub and sauna was why this place was a winner. The kids had soo much fun and there are plenty if games and toys for the kids too. One detail to mention is that the annexe part of the building is apparently for groups of 10. I opted to purchase this additionally once we got there as the bathroom/shower facilities to accommodate 6 adults was not suitable for us. The open bath in the upstairs bedroom was not practical for us, so the 4 adults in the main building shared the one bath shower in the downstairs room. The annexe was comfortable for me, my husband and 3 kids. The only let down here was the lack of hot water available. 2 of us showered one afternoon after swimming and we had no hot water after that and until we left the next day, so had to use the pool shower which is open. I informed Darina and she was very apologetic and couldn't understand why. My point here being that she was contactable and very helpful throughout our stay. She always responded to my messages and we had a few questions whilst there. I would highly recommend this for families that are able to share shower rooms. The garden is soo big and beautiful. All in all we had a great time here and created some wonderful memories. If you are thinking to book something that will keep the kids entertained, do it.

nice place. A pitty that the kitchen was smal, especially the place to cook and very unpleasent was that the tap in the kitchen didn’t give warm water!

The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening. The downstairs family room has sinks and a bath but no toilet, you have to use the kitchen one at the opposite end of the house, too far for my 3yr old I in the night (big accident on the way to it) or my 80yr old father in law who has mobility issues. He then had to go to the upstairs family room as the toilet is next door but stairs are very difficult for him and he could only use the outside staircase. The 'kid area' we couldn't use as there is a hole in the floor for an open spiral staircase which the cleaner described as a 'death trap'! They need to cordon it off so children can safely use the toy area. The two other doubles are in a completely different building - that would have been perfect for our family if one room had twin beds. There are lots of steps inside and out as well which was hard for our toddler and my father in law. We would love to return when the children are much older and the whole property is safe for them because it is an amazing place!

Spacious house, with slightly quirky layout. Well equipped but some updating is required. The pool was warm, the garden is huge. Plenty of kitchen items. Very quiet location.

This was a family holiday three generations and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves ages from 5 years to 72 years. Quiet sleepy village so hardly any traffic. Villa set in secure position with electronic gates. The garden was enormous so the children enjoyed the space and coupled with the swimming pool they had a wow of a time. There was the hot tub for the adults to relax in and also the sauna. We visited a couple of villages nearby and also drove to Beauvais (about 35 minutes) and got the train to Paris for the day very exciting. The house is a little bit tired but then we were near the end of the season, so maybe a lick of paint will brighten it up for next year. A car is essential. We found the drive from Calais easy one toll road but again not too much traffic. Speak as we found would recommend it.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful property just perfect for our family. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were enjoyed by all. The outdoor seating location was perfect for the excellent weather and we enjoyed spending most evenings outside. We can’t wait to go back again !

Lovely house and grounds, fabulous for children we all had a great time and would definitely consider returning. House is a bit tired and lacked a few essentials but we managed.
