Wonderful small house, in great setting; well designed, all the equipment you might need

We loved it the house is gorgeous and has everything you need for a relaxed holiday. The lake is beautiful.we wished we could of stayed longer.

Tout est fait pour que votre séjour soit très agréable, les équipements de la maison, l'étang. Nombreuses randonnées très bien balisées à proximité. Marché de Chalûs le vendredi matin. 5 étoiles pour ce gîte au calme.

The cottage is very nice, the owner is helpful and the location is perfect. It is excellent as a starting point for making walking trips in the surroundings. Haute-Vienne has a large number of marked walking routes. And you can also make a trip to Limoges.

Really Really good. Spotlessly clean and well prepared. Furniture and fittings of a standard you'd expect in a home rather than a rental. Totally equipped - including firewood - just had to walk in. The private lake is a real treat. Very well presented. Plenty of wildlife - and one of the neighbours must have a pack of hounds whose occasional howling was wonderfully atmospheric!!

La petite maison de Lisa et Andy est charmante et très accueillante. Elle est remarquablement agencée, l'espace est optimisé au maximum et tout y est avec une belle qualité de prestations (literie excellente). Un panier de bienvenue nous est offert à l'arrivée, et les indications utiles pour passer un bon séjour sont parfaitement détaillées.Un grand merci pour toutes ces attentions aux détails!

This is a wonderful cottage, everything possible is provided. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. It is always a nice surprise to find crockery etc matching Lisa Andy have done a great job. They were not at all intrusive but willing to help if needed. It snowed and was cold whilst we were there so the plentiful supply of firewood provided was very welcome, as was arriving to the log fire burning, very thoughtful!

I can truthfully say that La Petite Maison is the best gîte we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is equipped with every pot, pan and utensil you could imagine (including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine) and we were able to drink our wine from crystal glasses! There is a larger than average fridge/freezer, more than adequate for a generous shop at the local Intermarché. We were lucky enough to be able to spend most of our time outside but the lounge area is cosy and attractive. The bedrooms are furnished with plenty of drawer and hanging space (with an abundance of coat hangers) and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is modern with an efficient shower. We were impressed with the items provided in both kitchen and bathroom eg handwash, loo roll, kitchen roll, cleaning detergents…. Lisa and Andy were there to welcome us and show us round the property. We had total privacy both in our garden and round the lake but they were always on hand if we needed help or advice. There is a wealth of interesting places to visit in the area and we did venture out every day but it was such a pleasure to return to the peace, tranquility and comfort of La Petite Maison. Thank you Lisa and Andy for creating this perfect ‘home from home’.
