My wife and I had a lovely fortnight staying at Dean and Debra’s property. Ideally located for peace and quiet but only 10/15 mins drive from Vergt with its supermarket and good food options. Weather was a bit mixed during our stay but with so much to see in the Dordogne it wasn’t a problem. The gite was very well equipped and though no one goes on holiday to watch TV, it was really handy having all the UK Freeview channels available for those rainy days. Super fast wifi too and safe parking. Pool and hot tub area was lovely with great views over the countryside.

Excellent rural location. Directions were impeccable and the host was extremely helpful, friendly, willing and available.The gite was extremely well equipped, right down to an electrical cool box for picnics. We have never enjoyed such a well equipped kitchen. Pool was brilliant and there was also a hot tub.We were a little disappointed that the second bathroom was not upstairs with the second bedroom and not mentioned in the property advert.

Debra and Dean are the perfect hosts! Quiet location, great pool and hot tub, lovely house with an amazing view, well furnished, very comfortable, kitchen with everything you need, outdoor grill. Just 10 minutes to local shops. We can't wait to visit again.

Really great spot to base from . Well equipped couldn’t see anything you wouldn’t need. The double DDs were lovely hosts and should ne very proud of their home. If ever in area will use again

Debra and Dean were great hosts, they gave us all the space we needed as we wanted a very quiet week, the pool was checked everyday and was very clean, only 10mins from a supermarket and petrol, plenty to visit if that’s your plans. There was everything you needed in the gite, the ceiling fan was fantastic for a great nights sleep.

Great location.Great hosts.Great property. Better beds and mattresses would have been welcome, too basic. We were unlucky with the weather, had to ask for some blankets as it was really quite cold at night. Debra and Dean quickly provided on request but it might be useful to have some available in the house? Excellent advice from Dean re places to visit and eat and also kindly booked for us. Would happily return and would happily recommend.

Comfortable place to stay. Quiet and very peaceful in the country. The pool and hot tub were clean and great in the heat. The house is clean and tidy with everything you need. Exceptional hot weather but the owners provided fans and a ac unit upstairs. For us the bed downstairs is a bit flimsy and the mattress was so thin it really could do with being replaced immediately! There are no bug screens on the rental and we got eaten alive by mosquitoes even when having sprays on. The owners say there is not a problem, but they have screens on their own house. The property is on septic and when having a shower you can smell the drains sadly. Be aware that you have to dispose of all your rubbish off site circa 4km away which is not great when you have to travel onwards. In the instructions booklet there is no mention about a stray cat. The owner came over and rather bruskly dressed us down as it walked in on its own. Personally some could have taken the abrasive attitude in a different manner. Would we stay here again, on reflection no.

Had a great time at this very well equipped Gite. Hosts were so nice with us and helped us in so many ways during our stay. Dean & Debs are a lovely couple. The outdoor facilities are amazing and we spent so much time in the pool. The pool is very clean and attended to every day and we all loved it so much. I highly recommend a stay here, we were so impressed we plan to return early 2024 Thank you so much for a wonderful property
