HELIANTHE - Superbe appartement avec terrasse vue mer et Château au Port de Nice

😊: Good location, lovely terrace, nice kitchen, air conditioning. 😢: Light switches didn't work in the bedroom, some lights not working in bathroom, tired and uncomfortable furniture, one seat cushion only for four seats on terrace, some terrace furniture unusable due to holes in the seat, terrace floor partially swept but not washed, unsafe switches on living area lamp, no towels provided - had to request the day after arrival, key provision not forthcoming, no code provided, thankfully the staff were (unusually) in the office after hours so was able to collect. No apologies forthcoming..

😊: Large terrace was great, though needs some care, we had to pull up weeds knee high to go outside. 😢: Only 1 toilet and that was too hot with the door closed. Sofa bed uncomfortable and excessively squeaky any time you move.

😊: The terrace is lovely and the apartment is spacious and in a decent location. We found the bed comfortable and the facilities (when we were able to use them - see below) had everything you could need for a short stay, although some of the finishings were run down and could do with some attention (for instance light switches hanging off the wall, chipped tiling etc).. 😢: I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to steer well clear - the hosts are unprofessional and dishonest. There are known issues with the apartment and if they affect your stay the hosts will not fix them in a timely manner or provide compensation. During our stay we encountered multiple problems. When we arrived the lights weren't working in the majority of the apartment (the kitchen, toilet, hallway and living room) which meant we could not use the kitchen in the evenings, and the hot water stopped working on our second day so we had two and a half days of cold showers. We notified the management agency about both issues as soon as they arose, and they told us the problem with the lights was a known problem to the landlord (so why wasn't it fixed before we arrived?). The management tried to fix the problem themselves but couldn't, so called an electrician who then couldn't come for a further two days, and we ended up having to drop off and pick up the keys from the lock box every day of our trip as the management must not have a spare. The electrician eventually came on the final night of our stay - he was lovely and fixed both issues so we had one evening with light and could have warm showers before we checked out in the morning. The management said they would be providing a partial refund due to the problems, but since returning home they only replied to one message to say they had to check this with the landlord, and then stopped responding to me completely. I tried to pursue this with Booking.com but they couldn't come to a resolution with the company either. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of service and compensation from the hosts, especially given we were really cooperative in getting the problems fixed even when it was inconvenient for us. I usually really hate making complaints, but the problems and then the service we received from the hosts was just unacceptable and truly some of the worst I have ever encountered..

The apartment is very well equipped. Also very pleasant to have an airco and shutters to keep it cool.<br>#128577; Some lights on the terrace would be nice in the later evening.

Posizione non vicinissima al mare ma raggiungibile a piedi (1 Km) Parecchi negozi e ristoranti vicino all'appartamento, zona viva ma tranquilla (al settimo piano non senti nulla) A 5 minuti fermata del tram 1 (costo 1,50€ a biglietto) con il quale raggiungi tutte le zone "...<br>#128577; Nulla da dire
