Historic 17th Century house near the Castle

It was fun to stay...<br>#128578; The location was excellent! That was the best part. Also, the upstairs double bed was extremely comfortable. That bedroom had the perfect mix of old and new - tastefully decorated - fireplace and soaring ceiling. As a solo person, I didn't sleep in the other beds. I liked that there was a dining room table at the end of the living room - it was great to write at and much better than the kitchen table for that. The towel warmer in the only tiny bathroom helped take the chill and ...<br>#128577; The bedroom I used actually had a door and window that led to the street above the main floor of the house. That would have been ok, but then the first morning, there was street noise that I didn't anticipate, but figured out what it was. The second morning, garbage trucks on both street levels woke me up twice at something like 06:00 am. The quite place turned very noisy. Une maison atypique pleine de...<br>#128578; La maison atypique du 17e s. est rénovée avec bon goût et avec soin. Grande table à manger au salon, canapé confortable et beau jardin équipé d’un grill. Situation très calme entre les 2 châteaux d’Amboise et places de parking gratuit à deux pas. Logement parfait pour des adultes ou en famille, mais pas adapté pour un voyage avec de petits enfants en raison des escaliers très raides et étroits.<br>#128577; Une documentation sur l’histoire de la maison depuis le 17e s., ses anciens usages et notamment celles des caves adjacentes creusées dans la roche, peut-être accompagné de photos anciennes, serait appréciée. Un projet pour cet hiver ? Sinon, nous ne doutons pas que la connexion internet en panne lors de notre venue aura certainement été rétablie depuis notre départ.
