Holiday cottage - Sainte-Mère-Eglise

😊: Lovely large property just outside St Mere Eglise. The owners were friendly and helpful and their homemade apple juice was too die for! Wonderful stay... 😢: Nothing.

😊: Lovely location for D Day beaches and airborne museum, the village is walking distance . Owners very friendly, limited English but then so is my French! Lovely comfortable conservatory which we spent most of the weekend in. Comfortable lounge and kitchen had coffee machine, dishwasher and there was a washing machine in the garage. Gated residence. Plenty of towels. Dishwashing tablets for each day.. 😢: There is no full description of the property and when I looked at the picture layout it appeared to have 2 bathrooms. But that isn’t the case, there is only 1 wc in the property which is separate from the bathroom which has a bath and walk in shower. We are used to having at least 2 wc’s for the 6 people. Just something to be aware of when you book. Beds are 2 doubles not kingsize, quite low in 2 bedrooms if you have mobility issues, children’s room has 2 small singles, take your own pillows if you like something fairly firm. Went to Carrefour to buy some for the weekend but to be honest they were all sooooo soft!!! So didn’t bother … just a mention if that would bother you as it did me but my own fault I should have taken my own!…. We enjoyed the weekend there but with toilet and bathroom issues I wouldn’t personally book for longer. But I am not putting the property down, if that isn’t an issue for you..
