Holiday cottage - Vitrac

😊: Clean & very well-equipped property just off the road & close to the river. 2 restaurants close by & 2 more up in Vitrac village 10-12 minutes walk away. Lovely terrace with barbecue overlooking woodland & sunny for the majority of the day..

😊: Host Facilities Comfort. 😢: Noisy road Rear patio enclosed by trees.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Vitrac. Sadly the inclement weather meant that we couldn't enjoy the gites outside patio area as much as we'd have liked - it's equipped with barbecue, sun loungers, a dining tabe, and a very comfortable occasional table and chairs too. Inside the gite is very comfortable - the pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. It has a new, compact kitchenette that's well equipped, a dining area for four guests and comfortable seating area too. The beds were so comfortable that . one day I slept until 08:45 and the Egyptian cotton towels were gorgeous! Finally, Jagoda and David are excellent hosts. The gite is ideally placed for visits to Sarlat, Domme (which you can walk to in just over an hour), Roche de Gageac, Beynac and for canoeing down the river. So, there's lots to do and, afterwards, a very comfortable home to retire to for the evening.

Un seul bemol : maison en bordure d’une route départementale passante. Bruit de fond des véhicules perceptible dans la maison et surtout sur la terrasse. Sinon, tout est parfait et les hôtes sont très accueillants.
