Holiday home in stunning location

Nice property, but wrong location...<br>#128578; The gite itself is a nice building in a fairly isolated location, and the hosts were quite nice and helpful. Everything is fine apart from one semi-collapsed mattress.<br>#128577; Booking.com only acts as sub-agent for another agent with this property. The real agents are 'belvilla' - and they are a nightmare to deal with! For starters, the property isn't where it is advertised. It is 8 km away down a short dirt track. So all the usual features of booking.com don't really work (e.g. distance to restaurants - I happily walk the stated 500m in the evening, but NOT the real 8 kilometers!! My request for the correct location was denied. Only after full payment...

Superplek om volledig tot rust te komen. Eigenlijk hoef je nergens meer heen. Dat kan natuurlijk wel, toeristische trekpleisters als Rocamadour en Figeac zijn op een steenworpafstand. Voor de boodschappen is Gramat het dichtste bij. Het huis zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien, tot een vaatwasser en wasmachine aan toe! Pingpongtafel, badmintonnet, mountainbikes en het zwembad waren voor ons perfect. Tienerzoon heeft er dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. De combinatie van alles wat je buiten kan doen én goed werkend internet is ook heel fijn! Dat de deur open is als je aankomt voelt welkom en gastvrij. De dame die ons welkom heette en ook uitzwaaide was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Weggetjes naar het huis zijn wel spannend. Kom je een tegenligger tegen, dan moet één van tweeën achteruit. Dat heeft als voordeel dat er niet veel verkeer is! Al met al is dit vakantieadres zeker aan te raden voor iedereen die van rust houdt.

The house was old but clean. Very friendly host. + The yard was beautiful! Lovely and clean swimming pool. Outside there is a lot of place to sit and things to do (Ping pong, badminton, soccer, mountainbikes). Good amenities (washing machine, dish washer, oven and bath). Very quiet and private surroundings, just that we needed. - table outside was broken, some things are very old and need to be replaced (shower, sunshade umbrella, ...), very small double beds. At times a lot of ants and flies. Not a lot of space inside for six persons. Tips: a toilet roll holder in both toilets, new table outside, fly screen at the front door.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst van de huiseigenaars. Het vakantiehuis is heel gezellig en goed onderhouden. Ook de tuin en het zwembad was goed onderhouden. Leuke tuin voor de kindjes en ook veilig dat het zwembad volledig omheind is. Schommel, glijbaan, voetbalgoal, badmintonnet, tafeltennis is allemaal aanwezig. Het huis is heel rustig gelegen midden in de natuur langs een grindwegje, het is er zalig vertoeven.
