😊: Cosy, comfortable and close to the slopes.

😊: Very clean indeed, exceptional. Very well equipped as the apartment is obviously privately-owned so there are many appliances and lots of crockery and cutlery. Nicely situated for the piste although NOT ski-in, ski-out by any means as the piste is across a wide road from the apartment.. 😢: Communication with Alpes Sweet Home was not great. Christine didn't answer all the questions I emailed to her and did not follow instructions about bedding - she emailed me a week prior to our arrival to ask if we needed two beds made up and I said we definitely did although there's only two of us. When we arrived however there was only one set of bedlinen and we had to get the cleaner to bring more. No apology from Christine about her error. She also failed to apologise when I had to ask three times about luggage storage availability on first and last days, and actually was rather patronising when I finally got an answer to the question, explaining that 'concierge service' as advertised does not mean that there's anyone at the apartment building, and pointing out that I'm renting an apartment, not a room in a hotel. As pretty much everywhere I've stayed in 50 years of skiing has had a facility to leave luggage and I've always stayed in apartments, this comment did not go down well with me. The day before we left, Christine asked me what time we would be leaving the apartment. "9am" was my answer, given that's the latest check out time allowed (how early could we possibly be expected to leave?). So we were rather annoyed to find that the cleaner was letting himself into the apartment at 8.50am! The kitchen in the apartment is unsuitable if you plan to cook at all, yes there's a cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher (the latter being a tiny one, insufficient for the six people the apartment is advertised for). But the kitchen is so tiny and cramped there's only the draining board to use as a worktop. All the photos taken of the apartment are extremely flattering, it's much smaller than the pictures suggest. And above all, it's extremely cold..
