Honfleur location - Entire Place

😊: We loved our stay in Honfleur location. I never got tired of the walk up the medieval stairs, living in a piece of history. It was also fun to disappear inside the inconspicuous blue door number 3 and leave the other tourists wondering haha. Don't let anyone dissuade you by talking about the smell of the bins, you just pass by them briefly. You also get to see a bit of behind the scenes of a local restaurant, as one of the doors in the stairs is always open, revealing a restaurant kitchen. You can say bonjour to the busy chefs, and see them leaving bread to cool on the windowsill in the stairwell : ) The apartment itself is great, spacious and prettily decorated, with the ability to cook and a dishwasher. Great views of the historic streets when you lean out of the windows. The location can't be beat, it's in a great area, super close to the historic port and walkable to everything you'll want to see in Honfleur. We were lucky enough to have 2 street parades happen during our stay, and they all go down this street! It was a special part of our trip. We decided not to use the loft bedroom, to avoid having to go up and down the timber ladder, but the sofa bed was comfy and we were very happy.. 😢: If the host removed the piece of furniture in front of the window in the living area, and put chairs there, guests would be better able to enjoy the view down the historic street. I would have loved to have a cuppa sitting looking out that window. Currently the best view is from the bathroom window..

😊: Stopped for two nights and found the apartment was a great base for our exploring. Great location. Good communication..
