House in an exceptional setting

Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sleepy village of Le Bec-Hellouin. The beautiful abbey was a hightlight and a stunning view from the cottage. We were close to the Green Route and cycled to the town of Le Neubourg and back one day and then from there to to Evreux another day with 2 teenagers, plenty of places to stop and refuel and lots to see in the towns. We were so lucky with the weather as wehad a few unexpected hot days at the beginning of April. The cottage has a lovely French charm and is full of character, there was nothing missing! Shops are a 10 mins drive away. Communication with the owners on arrival and departure was great. The only thing, as we were so early in the season, the cafes were either closed or open irregular hours so we sometimes missed out, I guess this would be different in the high season. However, just what we all needed for a rejuvenating few days away, we hope to visit again.
