House in Senlis - Near Chantilly, Charles de Gaulle, Parc Astérix, Paris

Lovely area, short walk to Senlis and easy access to Chantilly and Paris. House suited our needs, owner was very responsive with any questions we had.

We loved our short stay in this home. It had everything we needed. It is not pristine but has character which we like. Our kids loved the garden and swings and there is a small park around the corner but we didn't visit it. The location is excellent and Senlis is a lovely little town with lots to see. We did a day trip to Paris which was very easy, 20min by car to Chantilly then 25min train to Gard du Nord. We would love to stay again and spend more time in this beautiful house and area.

Senlis ist ein wunderbares Städtchen voller romantischer Gäßchen und malerischer Ecken. Dazu kommt eine Umgebung voller Reize - Landschaft, Orte, Geschichte. Es ist vom Haus aus alles fußläufig erreichbar. Der Garten lädt zur Entspannung ein und das Haus enthält alles (und mehr noch), was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit unserem sehr entgegenkommenden Gastgeber trug zu unserer Entspannung bei. Wir waren glücklich.

We've enjoyed our stay in Senlis. The owners of the house are really friendly and when you have a question, you get an answer immediately. The house provides everything you need and is well equiped. The location is perfect. We visited Chantilly, Compiegne etc.. and also cycled a lot. The owners were so friendly to vacate a small shed to park our bikes. The house also is quiet en fresh as the sleeping rooms are on the north side of the house. Why don't we give 5 stars? Because some of the (garden) furniture is a bit old and the carpet in one of the bedrooms needs replacing. But apart from this we really have enjoyed our holiday.

Jean-Noël’s house is perfect for a family who wish to visit Paris, Chantilly, Senlis and the surrounding area. We flew into Charles de Gaulle airport, and after collecting a hire car, we were greeted by Jean-Noël only 25 minutes later. The location is amazing, and you can spend your holiday feeling truly ‘French’! Paris is only a quick TGV ride away from Chantilly, and there are numerous places of interest within 25 minutes of the accommodation. The house is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. We spent many happy meal-times sitting in the garden, as the neighbourhood is extremely quiet. I cannot praise Jean-Noël enough. He replied to e-mails extremely quickly, was very efficient, and his welcome on our first night started our holiday in the perfect way. Merci beaucoup.

The house is comfortable and quiet and has everything you need including condiments in the kitchen. There is a garden for sitting out and parking isn't a problem. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. Senlis is a very attractive town with good restaurants and a good base for touring the area. Do not miss Chateau Chantilly.
