House in small mountain village near Peyragudes / Superbagnères / Luchon

Five of us (all adults) stayed here for 1 week at the end of July. It's a beautiful house with lots of character, and we were very comfortable. The bedrooms and bathroom are lovely, there's a small kitchen and a huge dining table, and you can put your bikes in the garage. You can't park outside the house, but most of the time you can park about 50m up the hill. The village is VERY quiet - we really enjoyed ourselves cycling and walking in the area, but if you want to do anything else you will need to drive somewhere - e.g. Bagneres de Luchon, which is 15-20 minutes away. Make sure you do a supermarket shop before you get here, and remember most shops are closed on Sundays. We would definitely go back, both to this region and to this property.

EXCELLENT VALUE. If you are looking for a comfortable house in a very relaxing and quiet place, look no further.... The house is very nicely furnished and is spacious and very pleasantly decorated, with alpine motifs. There are many reasons for choosing this house- but the SILENCE and pure mountain air ( far away from neighbouring towns ) is , in our mind, the BEST reason. It is truly hard to find a more peaceful place to spend a holiday ,
