House of charm and character

Property is lovely, and the location is incredible. A few hitches with communication (I would recommend WhatsApping the phone number provided rather than communicating via Vrbo) and finding the property (the house number provided was wrong), but the house itself is lovely, even nicer than it looked in the photos. Pra Long, with a daytime restaurant, tobogganing space and ski lifts, is about a 30 minute walk away from the house.

A very characterful property that combines a traditional historic building with lots of stylish modern touches. The lounge is very spacious. Two of the bedrooms have stunning mountain views. The house stayed very cool even with outside temperatures in the mid 30s. It's a short drive into beautiful Briancon. We had some difficulty finding the property (we were given the wrong house number and the property manager was busy dealing with an emergency when we arrived - what3words would have been super helpful) but once we were there we all enjoyed it.

As a group of 6 friends, we spent wonderful days during NY’s week. The property perfectly combines the original building elements with modern ones. It is a really cozy apartment in the middle of the mountains. Thanks, Claire!

The house is very nicely decorated, it has very good amenities and it is warm and cozy. It was very comfortable for our group of 6. Fantastic views over Briancon and the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended
