House open on the countryside

Sylvain and Katherine were ideal hosts who communicated well with us to ensure we arrived safely. They were PERFECT hosts who welcomed us, gave us lots of information, considerately stocked the kitchen with a welcome pack of groceries and invited us for drinks in their beautiful house and garden. The cottage is ideal for 2 or 3 people with a lovely balcony and use of a gorgeous garden. If you have mobility issues the spiral staircase needs to be considered. Our hosts introduced us to the perfect locations to visit and the best things to enjoy in the area. You MUST visit the river beach and Le Limau too.

This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. The walk behind the house up to the table d’orientation is well worth it, as is the red wine produced from the local vineyard. Sylvain the owner is a delight and made me feel very welcome, which as a solo traveller, was lovely.

Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cette petite maison joliment décorée et confortable, située dans un village au calmé près du Lot. Hôte intéressant et à l'écoute. Très bon accueil.

Logement confortable, tout est fait pour que l'on s'y sente bien ; toutefois, il faut être en bonne santé, il y a des marches, et l'accès à l'étage en colimaçon peut être difficilement praticable pour certains à forte corpulance;

The accomondation looks very neat and is beautiful decorated. It was a great plaesure to stay in such a tasteful house in the beautiful village Albas. Sylvain and Catherine are great hosts, they are very friendly and helpful and gave us some unforgettable reccomendations for which places and restaurants to visit. We hope to come back some time!

Appartement avec décoration retro appréciée. Petite terrasse sympa . Douche fonctionnelle. Très bien placé dans un petit village médiéval au calme au bord du lot. Merci à Sylvain et sa compagne pour l accueil ,les petites attentions d arrivee ( boissons au frais) et le petit café du départ... circuit vélo ou randonnées possible aux alentours .

We had a fantastic time in Albas. The village is beautiful and the apartment a wonderful retreat with everything you can ask for. The hosts are amazingly friendly and welcoming. They prepared the kitchen with drinks and food for us to to cook with the evening we arrived and we had milk and coffee for the next morning. We felt welcome and at home the moment we arrived. The apartment is stylish, clean and well equipped, it has its own little secluded terrace and access to a separate garden. There is a beach to go swimming in the river 5 minutes away with a stunning view overlooking the village up the hills. We will definitively come back!
