House / Villa - Avolsheim

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The house itself was very clean, well‑maintained, and extremely quiet — perfect for relaxing after long days out. We are a family of five, and the space worked wonderfully for us. Everyone felt at home, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would happily stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant getaway.

Functional and well-stocked gite with all necessary utensils. It has a pretty basic interior but is very clean. Overlooking the Bruche River with wake-up calls by the local geese!! We stayed in December and found the house cold initially, and it took a while to heat up. Albertine, the owner, is highly responsive, and her homemade cookies and jam were a lovely gift on arrival.

A very spacious and well presented property, which the photographs did show accurately. We were three people and we all agreed that the equipment provided was very varied and good. Albertine explained things very well and was friendly and helpful.

We were met with a very warm welcome from Albertine and Jean Pierre Hoff and given all the information and help we needed. Avolsheim is a beautiful village and the house is situated in the perfect location. We would not hesitate to return to this great house.

Pleasant spacious house. Fully equipped. Very convenient that the owner lives nearby. She was helpful and friendly. There is extensive information available about the area. The immediate vicinity lends itself to walks.
