House / Villa - Maillane

Place is made by the garden but the inside is great too. Had everything we needed and the property is clearly very loved. Owner was very helpful but not obtrusive. Would definitely go back.

We selected this property for its location, a short drive from many attractions, and were not disappointed. The property itself was well maintained and we were warmly received and looked after. Highly recommended!

A beautiful home and exquisite garden and swimming pool in total privacy. Unfortunately at this time of the year we were unable to use the facility of the pool. The house is very well furnished with very nice seating and dinning accommodation and 3 very comfortable bedrooms one having an en-suite with jacuzzi bath. There is an additional shower with multi jets on the first floor. The kitchen and utility room are very well fitted with china, glasses, cutlery and many electrical kitchen appliances. We were very lucky with the weather on our stay and fortunately we could eat on either of the 2 beautiful terraces as well as we could relax in the very private garden. We would like to thank Karim and Jean-Luc for the welcome and introduction to Le Mazet de Maillane with local produces and a very welcome bottle of champagne. We had a most enjoyable stay and we are seriously hoping to return later in the year to enjoy more of the garden and the pool. Thank you very much. Michael Richardson and Partner.

We enjoyed very much our five days in the Provence. Fantastic house with great garden and heated swimming-pool. Very quiet location close to many interesting cities in the Provence. We will be back! Thank you Mr. Begarie. Paolo and Family.

We recently rented this spectacular house to spend a week-end with our friends from the region of Lyon who we get the chance to see only once a year since we left the south of France to live in New York. We are two couples with 2 children each (4-8 year-old). This was a fabulous decision as this house met all of our expectations and beyond. First, the owner is very welcoming (a cold bottle of Rose was waiting for us in the pool patio) and extremely attentive to all your needs. Besides, he personally decorated the house tastefully with modern flair and comfort while keeping original Provencal details in the furniture, the colors and the overall spirit of the house. We found the house very clean and the kitchen particularly well-equipped for the cooking-foodies that we are. It was also perfect to have access to a charcoal BBQ as well as a "pierrade" to be in vacation mood before the summer. Both bathrooms are a must. The downstairs's one has a an incredible Jacuzzi bath tube with multiple choices of light colors and massage intensities. Upstairs bathroom is a huge stone-made standing shower with multiple massage jets, a dream...But the Gem of this house is the heated swimming pool!!! April was unusually cold this year and still our children had a blast swimming a great part of the day :-) So good to see them getting tired, guaranteeing they will go to bet not too late and that we can have Parent-only time in the evening with our friends. Bottom-line, I highly recommend this house and we will be back on next year, so we can may be take more time to explore around and visit the beautiful town Saint Remi de Provence.

We spent 3 wonderful weeks with 2 familys in this nice house with perfect garden and pool. Mailane is located in the centrum of the Provence and this was great for our trips to the beach or to the different towns for sight seeing. There was a very kind and extreme helpful contact with the owners. They welcomed us in the house and were there for our departure. Complete recommendation!

The Mazet de Maillane has everything that we needed, and more, for a perfect family holiday in Provence. Tastefully decorated and comfortable, this house is not set up with just rentals in mind but as a real home. The kitchen had everything you would expect as well as little extras like a Nespresso machine, a blender and a fridge with an ice maker. As we have to keep in touch with work during holidays wifi is essential and we were very happy to find that the reach extended well into the garden! The location of the house is excellent for sight seeing being a 5 minute easy drive from the charming town of St Remy de Provence and 20 minutes from Arles, Avignon and Les Baux de Provence. The children also loved the castle 15 mins away at Tarascon. The village of Maillane has a couple of grocery stores, a pharmacy, two bakeries, a cafe and two restaurants at an easy 5 minute walk. As for the very pretty garden, the kids spent hours in the pool which was heated and saline rather than chlorinated. The lawn was also great for playing badminton. Finally, the lovely owners made us very welcome when we arrived late, hungry and tired greeting us with a bottle of champagne and a generous spread of bread, cheese and charcuterie. Enough for breakfast the following morning! Highly recommended.
