House / Villa - Saint Caprais de Bordeaux

Fantastic park/garden and pool area! Extremely nice and friendly hosts. A calm place, perfect for reloading batteries.

We stayed in the house in Bordeaux for 3 weeks with our two grown up children and it was a great experiance. The house is in a very quit neighbourhood and has a very spacious garden. The pool is create perfect to swim & relax and our children loved the table tennis, too. The house has everything you need to spend a great vacation and exceeded very much our expectation from the photos. There are many beautiful places to visit in the Bordeaux region. Emmanuel and his wife are lovely people and where always very helpful and helped us with ideas what to visit. We definitely love to come back in the future. Merci beaucoup! Emmanuel

Beautiful property with all the amenities you would hope for. It is sited in a quiet location on the edge of Saint-Capris village. The owners were very helpful and left us to get on and enjoy our holiday but were always available if we needed something. We will definatley be returning. Thank you Emanuel.

Very spacious property and surroundings. Gorgeous pool area too. House has all amenities that you would need. We stayed here for a week. The area is a little quiet, there is a small supermarket and bakery for food. We travelled to surrounding towns for dinner each night. The owner is lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was the ideal choice for a holiday outside yet near to Bordeaux. Excellent communication from owner Emmanuel during the booking process, where nothing was too much trouble. And this continued during our stay, with delightful owners discreet yet on hand if a problem (massive electric storm during which Emmanuel rushed over with extra candles). Before the break in the weather we enjoyed the spacious, clean pool and its surroundings. Very large garden planted with many different kinds of trees. All terrifically peaceful. The journey into Bordeaux required a short hop on the motorway, and then negotiation with the trams and bikes. Easy once done - Bordeaux is now designed for pedestrians! We needed to go in several times as our daughter was starting at university there. A wonderfully vibrant city with so much to do, with an extraordinary choice of bars and restaurants. St Caprais, a good village with excellent baker and above average small supermarket, is also with easy reach of all the other important places to visit, St Emilion for instance. We always enjoyed coming back to our holiday house, though: plenty of room to eat outside, well equipped kitchen, table tennis in the barn. The house was very comfortable and more spacious than photos suggest. We enjoyed plenty of conversations with these delightful owners, who seem to have mastered the art of melting away so never were we aware that they lived adjacent to us. Couldn't recommend more highly.

We stayed here ahead of our wedding in Haux in June 2013. From the beginning, the communication from Emmanuel was outstanding. He was so helpful and even allowed us to bring our dog at no extra charge. We were met by the owners' family members at the local church on our arrival to show us the way and guide us around the spacious chalet (the owners were on holiday). My goodness, the photos do not do this place justice. The gardens and grounds are simply beautiful and the accommodation was just perfect. Bigger than it looks in the photos. When the owners returned from their holiday they couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. We were allowed guests over for meals and to enjoy a BBQ and use the pool, they gave us the privacy we needed but were on hand if we needed anything. Don't stay anywhere else! Book here. You will not be disappointed . We hope to go back here whenever we stay in the region to explore beautiful Bordeaux and the surrounding villages.
