House / Villa - Veyrignac prés de sarlat

Nelly was very accommodating and met us late in the evening due to a delayed plane. Her home was clean with traditional furnishings. Quiet and wonderful home base. Outdoor space was excellent, pool was super cold but clean.

It is a beautiful house in a beautiful part of the Dordogne

This spacious home blends the beauty and elegance of a chateau with all of the modern convenience of the 21st century. The rooms are lovely and cozy; the wood beams and floors warm and historic; the kitchen, bathrooms, and Wi-Fi as up-to-date as can be. Our hosts were very friendly and kind, inviting, and instantly responsive to any question, concern, or need when we reached out to them. We loved our monthlong stay in Nelly and Jean’s home. I can’t recommend the home or our hosts highly enough.

Perfect. Nestled in the magnificent Dordogne countryside and yet within a stones trow of all attractions this beautiful property is idyllic. A warren of beautifully appointed rooms with a wonderful outside area and a superb pool simply stunning.

An idyllic location in the French Dordogne river valley. Classic, well maintained, quiet, large old home adjacent to a medieval church and near family activities. The pool was a welcome addition during the warm days. Well stocked kitchen with a pleasant outdoor eating area. We would certainly return. I was surprised by the cash request for the use of sheets and towels.

The outside area is lovely and we spent most of our time there.

We had a wonderful family holiday in this beautiful home in June 2019. Nelly and Jean were lovely hosts and came to meet us and show us around even though our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until well after midnight. The photos don’t do the house justice. It has amazing character and is lovingly maintained. Even though we were there during a heatwave and the temperature exceeded 40C at times, the inside of the house was always cool and the covered outdoor area and pool were a perfect place to be. The location is excellent and is within a 15 minute drive of many amazing locations in the Dordogne region. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the future

Photos did not do the house justice. There is lots of room inside the house, it is well furnished and it is very private & quiet. The owners have renovated the house and made a lot of effort to retain its charm. The pool was the perfect size and was secure. The outside eating area is lovely on a hot day and we all had a fantastic holiday visiting the amazing places that are on their doorstep. The only suggestions that we could make would be a parasol at the pool. The owners were friendly, helpful and charming. Thank you for a lovely stay. Soul Family
