Le calme et le confort d'une maison normande

Nous avons passé un agréable et reposant weekend en famille dans cette jolie maison en pleine nature. La proprietaire et sa copine (😇) sont d une grande sympathie.la Maison est propre et bien équipé, sans aucun vis à vis. Un grand jardin ou les enfants ont pu jouer en toute sécurité et caresser les chevaux de la prairie voisine qui venaient nous voir tous les jours. Nous rentrons sur paris ressourcés. The property is described as Peaceful and is certainly that. If you want peace and quiet you will not find anywhere better. It is situated in a small hamlet surrounded by woods and fields and is a least 2 miles from the nearest main road. We saw deer and sangliers nearby and the adjoining field is home to 5 horses. The gite is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped. However the kitchen area is a bit small. It was ok for the 2 of us, but larger families may find it a bit tight. Also the garden, although large, is a bit overgrown and the garden furniture needs a bit of attention. The owner, Christiane, is very friendly and helpful. Supermarkets, cafes and open markets are all to be found in nearby towns of L'Aigle, Breteuil and Venteuil. All of which are busy and typically Norman with large churches and timbered houses. The location is also convenient for excursions to the Seine valley.
