Illiers Combray - La Madeleine

😊: La Madeleine was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. It was the perfect size for us and Bianca provided a travel cot and high chair for our baby. Bianca communicated with us throughout our stay and made the whole process nice and simple..

😊: The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated, and has all the amenities that you may need. It is close to the boulangerie so you can enjoy freshly baked croissants and baguettes every morning. The host is very kind and responsive and the apartment is quiet despite being on one of the main roads. Free on street parking spaces on the road and there is an off road parking nearby. We liked the location - the town was very quiet when we were there in May but it is just 30 mins drive from a beautiful and more vibrant city of Chartres! Go and check the illuminations there!. 😢: We enjoyed our stay and liked pretty much everything, perhaps it would add more charm if the garden could be accessed directly from the apartment. Also, it would benefit from a private parking space directly in front of the house as we had troubles finding free space on the road every time we arrived from our trip but nothing to worry about as there is a parking lot 2 mins away..

😊: We were visiting family in the area. The location was great! Chartes is 30 minutes away, and illiers-combray was very charming. The B&B was brand new!! Very nice and spacious. Free parking and close to shops.. 😢: I thought everything was well done and looked new. No problems!!.
