IN THE HEART OF OUR COUNTRYSIDE

There were some positives to our stay. Communication and check-in were good, and the location was convenient with a supermarket nearby. The shower rooms were okay, though the heated towel rails didn’t work even when turned on.Unfortunately, several issues significantly reduced our comfort. The beds were extremely uncomfortable (as was mentioned in 2023 review), and the bedding was in poor condition—blankets & bed covers were old and a top sheet was ripped, creating a trip hazard for my elderly Mum. As a result sleep quality was poor throughout our stay.The property is not as advertised. The photographs are outdated, and the frontage has changed, reducing usable space. Overall, the gîte felt neglected, with facilities looking run down. The outdoor area was overgrown with weeds and was unusable. The hot tub was pleasant. The layout starts with the kitchen on the ground floor, stairs to the lounge and bedrooms above (if there were a fire downstairs exit is via balcony drop!). A sunny balcony is in poor condition, and a steep staircase leads to extra bedrooms we chose not to use. Towels were provided but limited.The pool, though a good size, required attention. The entry step was loose and unsafe making pool entry very difficult. Many tiles were cracked, and insects were prolific. In the pool, beetles were common despite the robotic cleaner.Overall, this gîte has potential, but without proper maintenance, updates, and accurate advertising, it falls short of expectations.

Exceptional<br>#128578; Everything was very good. Comfortable spaces, nice rooms, soft beds and pillows, each room with its own bathroom and wc , equipped and large kitchen.<br>#128577; Too many flies in the kitchen that were everywhere οh my god... everywhere . And after we fought to exterminate them we had to disinfect everything in the kitchen. The French may like this contact with nature, but others don't. With a mesh on the door and windows, the problems of the flies, ventilation and smell could be solved.

We had a good 5 days in l’Oise. The house is typically rustic and in a lovely, peaceful location. The whole house is extremely clean and comfortable. The showers are powerful and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher. The garden and all the toys are fabulous for the children. Our criticisms would be that the pool and hot tub were not available and we were unaware that these were seasonal. Not enough towels were supplied. Sheets and blankets feel a bit out of date even for a rustic gîte. And, that a list of rules and a form to sign to access wifi is fussy.

The gite is fabulous; very spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is well provided, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms were clean (each of the three first floor bedrooms are en-suite). The large pool on site is covered and so is lovely and warm in the sun. The pool itself was cleaned every day and several pool toys are provided. The hot tub area was also a lovely and relaxing space. The outside play area and courtyard is a little tired looking, but I'm sure this will be next on the owner's list to refurbish. The owners themselves were very discreet and helpful and the check-in process was flawless despite my poor grasp of the French language. The location is in a pretty but remote hamlet, but is close to several areas of interest within a reasonable driving distance (Paris, Beauvais, Chambly, Chantilly). A car is definitely recommended.

Stayed in Gite with friends and their children - clean and spacious rooms, kitchen had all utensils/plates etc needed, everyone loved the tennis court/pool/ping pong. Good restaurants within 10 mins drive.
