We had a fantastic holiday in the house it was just what we needed. Snug and comfortable the owner was increasable helpful throughout our stay If I was in Gruissan again I would.love to stay here again.

Villa Cosita is a compact hide-away, with total privacy and all amenities to make a week-long stay totally relaxing and most memorable. Nothing was more decadent than taking a dip in the totally private hot tub, after a day of exploring the sights in the area. (It was already too late in the season to take advantage of the mini-pool. The water was too cold. But not so for grilling on the deck and eating al fresco.) Ursula gave us a good base from which we could start our stay worry free. She coordinated with us our arrival and gave us a comprehensive and detailed orientation to the property once we got there. The few times that we had to contact her during our stay, she responded promptly and most accommodatingly. For two people, I can't think of anything that could make one's stay more delightful and low key at the same time.

This was a smaller home than we would normally rent, however the accommodation was in the area we wanted. From the start the communication from Ursula (and Julien, when we arrived) was excellent and extremely reassuring. Our initial impression was disappointment with the size, however once we'd settled in it was a lovely place to spend the week. The layout and décor has been carefully designed to maximise the use of space both indoors and out. There is even a small mezzanine floor with a desk and sitting area.There were plenty of clever storage options so everything could be unpacked and put away. The large fridge-freezer was a bonus and although there wasn't a grill, the induction hob and microwave/convection oven were more than adequate for our requirements. The Wi-Fi signal was fast and reliable and when the TV channels were limited we accessed many programmes via YouTube on the flat screen TV. Most of our time we spent outside, sitting at the table to read or relaxing in the jacuzzi, which was great. The front garden, though small, is completely private and location around the accommodation was very quiet. However the lively marina, restaurants, tourist information etc. are only a 10 minute walk away and the beach and old town less than 15 minutes. The old town holds a market twice a week. There are plenty of cycle trials around Gruissan and places to walk. In all, we had a great week and the accommodation really became our home, while we were there. Thank you Ursula & Julien for making it so.

Ursula was friendly and approachable. Apartment was in an ideal location. A quiet residential area within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and the (excellent) local market in Gruissan. Say " Salut from L'Ecosse" to the market seller who sells olive tapenade . Walking down to the patisserie to collect breakfast was most enjoyable. Apartment had all the kitchen facilities need for a summer break. The coffee machine is a Tassimo (for those who need to know) It was nice to cool down in the hot tub after a warm day. Overall - EXCELLENT.

The property had everything that you could possibly need. The owners were very pleasant and really helpful. We used the barbecue every night and sat at the table in the garden. We used the hot tub a lot which was great.

We can really recommend Villa Casita and its very nice host Ursula. She gave us a very warm welcome, when we arrived after a long journey. The wine was nicley cooled on the table with sweets, what a treat! She gave us very useful tips about restaurants and shops nearby. The location of the villa is excellent as you can reach everything by foot...the beach, the harbour, restaurants and shops. We have used the whirlpool and the the pool every day, especially in the evening for relaxation. The plantane tree is perfect to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner always in the shade, this is better than any sun umbrella! We certainly consider to come back in the future. The property was just as described on the website, very clean on arrival and the owner had left a nice welcome pack including chilled water in the fridge and a bottle of wine. Booking the stay was very easy, Ursula, the owner, was very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had prior to arrival and the handover at both the beginning and the end of the stay was handled very well with no delays or problems. The house was pretty well equipped and the area outside the front of the property well suited for outdoor cooking and eating, the Weber BBQ in particular was very good, much better than the BBQ I have at home. Gruissan is a great base for exploring the area and as walkers we found plenty to do without moving the car every day, in particular we would recommend the walk along the canals to Narbonne (remember to take plenty of water if it is a hot day) and if beaches are your thing then the lagoon beach and the beach out at Gruissan Plage both look very tempting. Gruissan itself has a good range of restaurants and bars to suit most tastes in both the port area (which is only a few minutes walk) and the old town, which is also within easy walking distance. All in all we had a very good holiday, after a day's walk the property was a very welcome place to return to and we would certainly consider booking with Ursula again if we return to Gruissan in the future.

Charming House in The marina, close to the beach. Ursula was very nice and communication was great. House was spotless with everything you need to have and the jacuzzi was definitely amazing . We were lucky to have superb weather in November. Recommended
