My stay at Antonella's Home in Chaumontel was perfect. I stayed here for a full month and very much enjoyed my stay. The charming home is beautiful and clean. Chaumontel is a breath of fresh air that is charming and quiet but is only a short train ride away from the action and excitement of Paris. It was wonderful to wake up to the quiet of the countryside with the birds singing outside my bedroom window. This is a different experience than staying in the city but if you are looking to stay in the countryside then this home is highly recommended. There is a local bakery and a place to pick up fresh meat and cheese and the larger grocery store is a 8 minute walk from the house. I did not have a car during my stay and I was able to get around well on foot and by using Uber however Chaumontel is a small town and I could have done more exploring of the surrounding towns if I had a car and that would probably be advisable.

Good location for visiting Paris & Chantilly and local chateau's
