Lovely stay in a quiet little village. The outside spaces were fab, especially the pool and covered dining area. Kitchen was fully equipped and local bakery and shop were handy for essentials.

Lovely area, house and garden have all you need to relax outside dining area with barbecue and pool too cool off. Co op and bakery in village, Excellent supper market 15 mins away . People friendly and helpfull, we have been twice will go again.

My wife and I spent a fantastic, relaxing 10 days in St Fort sur Gironde. We rented a very well equipped and comfortable 2-bedroom cottage with a private heated pool. As well as finding the gite all we wanted, the village and locality were wonderful too. We were also fortunate to enjoy sunny, warm weather for most of the time we stayed so we were able to swim and sunbathe almost every day.

We loved the well equipped kitchen, which allowed for proper self catering. Lovely outside eating and barbeque area. Lots of other outside seating areas, great to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. We loved the pool which was a big bonus to the holiday. The rest of the house was clean and well appointed. Sylvie was friendly and very helpful. We liked the village and surrounding area and have already booked for next year, can't wait to return!

Everything you might need is present in the house: washing machine, dishwasher, towels, coffee, spices, ... the owners welcomed us with a nice present (pineau, a regional sweet wine). The garden, terrace and swimming pool are wonderful! There's only one thing that could make it even better: we found the bed could be a little more comfortable. But everything else was even better than we had imagined. Thank you to the hosts for a very nice stay!

Just a relaxing and beautiful place to stay, house lovely, pool perfect, owners really helpful and they thought of everything. Would give it 6 stars if we could.

Chez Eugenie provided us with comfortable accommodation that was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the outside eating and sitting areas meant we could get the full benefit of the lovely garden. We were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to use the family's recently installed swimming pool. The property is close to all local amenities in the village and is also well located for trips to other nearby places. We enjoyed short trips to the beaches towards Royan and visited the picturesque towns and villages that were nearby. Blaye and Bourg and the surrounding vineyards are in easy reach as is Bordeaux. Sylvie and Eugenie were friendly and kind hosts and kept in contact to make sure that we had all we needed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
