Jardiniers Cottage situé dans un endroit calme juste en dehors du village

„A perfect stay!“The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and the wonderful peace and quiet made it the ideal place to relax. We felt right at home and will definitely be back!

Chris and Lin’s cottage is just outside St Mondane in a beautiful, peaceful location. The cottage has one bedroom but it’s not small. The bedroom is large, the kitchen likewise. It is all beautifully furnished to a high standard, and is fully equipped with everything you could need. This was our second visit. Thank you both very much for the use of your lovely house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this pretty and perfect gite. The accommodation was immaculately clean and welcoming. Everything we could wish for was provided. The garden a tranquil place to enjoy a nice glass of wine surrounded by butterflies and nature. Lin and Chris were super hosts and the welcome pack a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. 5* thank you

Ein wunderschönes Haus, schön gelegen und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Herrliche Terrasse, wo man nur die Grillen und Vögel hört. Schön angelegter kleiner Garten und drumherum Wiesen voller Orchideen. Wir haben jeden einzelnen Tag sehr genossen. Liebevoll auch der Korb mit ersten Lebensmitteln auf dem Tisch. Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Gastgeber Chris und Lin!

Even more beautiful in real life than the photos, the heritage building and setting of this gite are both amazing! Inside, it is comfortable, spaceous and well-appointed. It was the perfect home base for our introduction to the Dordogne / Perigord Noir region; close to many of the major attractions. The idyllic nature of the gite was matched only by the warmth and attentiveness of the hosts, Chris and Lin! For example, when we took a wrong turn on our way to arriving at Sainte Mondane, Chris was very responsive by email and called us right away to offer help with directions. This stay was the perfect beginng to our trip to France to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary, and we would recommend it to anyone!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est conforme à la description, très propre, très bonne agréable. Nous avons apprécié le panier très bien garni à nôtre arrivée. Chris et Lyn habitent près du gîte mais sont très discrets .

Un très joli chalet à la décoration raffinée avec un accueil chaleureux et convivial. Et si l'on ajoute un emplacement idéal en pleine nature au calme, c'est une belle expérience en Périgord noir.

If you are lucky enough to stay here, you will understand completely why I say this is a perfect place to be for a holiday. The home was immaculate and not cluttered with an owner’s unwanted leftovers. It was completely planned for a couple to be in a soothing environment. Every detail was thought out. The garden was perfect for sitting and reading or having a picnic supper. The home had comfy chairs for reading. It was hard to leave each morning to tour. Lots of wonderful spots were close by and there were walks all around the area. The kitchen was perfect. In fact, the whole place was perfect.
