Joli petit studio indépendant

We enjoyed our stay. A little more sitting area would be nice but perhaps we did not look at the pictures in the ad closely enough. The apartment was clean and comfortable but perhaps the kitchen could do with some renewal - especially the cupboards and drawers. We loved the garden and being close to the village.

The studio was perfect for us (me, my partner and our 4 month old baby). It is very close to the centre of Barbizon, which is such a pretty village - perfect for eating out and for art enthusiasts, although not ideal for a pushchair with all the cobbles! The studio is at the back of a really cool art studio with an eclectic mix of art work, I had the privilege of being shown around and practicing my French with Bernard who is an incredible sculptor. There are also amazing sculptures in the garden, along with fresh apples that we enjoyed eating. They provided us a cot for our baby and the kitchen was reasonably equipped - you might want to bring your own knife for chopping veg, it's one of those things that I think is always worth bringing if you're self catering! It is also gated with private parking so nice and secure and convenient. For the climbers, it is a 5 minute drive through the village to Apremont which has a huge amount of climbing.
