😊: .. 😢: UPON ARRIVAL WE WERE TOLD THAT THE ROOM WE HAD PAID FOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE AS THE HEATING AND HOT WATER WAS OFF. THE ALTERNATIVE ROOM WAS UP IN THE ATTIC VERY SMALL AND TO GET TO THE BED WE HADE TO CLIMB A LADDER LIKE STAIR EXTREAMLY STEEP. AS WE ARE BOTH IN OUR 70'S THIS WAS UNEXCEPTABLE, SHE SAID THERE WAS NO OTHER ACCOMADATION ARRAS AND NO OTHER SOLUTION AND THEY WOULD GIVE US A REFUND. WE WERE TRYING TO GET ON THE INTERNET WHICH WAS IMPOSSIBLE AND MET A COUPLE DOWNSTAIRS WHO WERE STAYING IN THE APARTMENT THAT WE HAD BOOKED THEY COMMENTED ON HOW SMALL AND DIFFICULT TO GET TO THE BED OUR ROOM WAS. WE COULD NOT STAY THERE AS COULDN'T GET UP TO THE BED AND NOWHERE TO SIT ONLY TO VERY HIGH STOOLS. AFTER TALKING DECIED THAT WE WERE UNABLE TO STAY THERE AND ASKED TO BE REFUNDED TO WHICH THEY AGREED BUT TO DATE HAVE NOT RECIEVED A PENNY BACK..

😊: I understand the host actually offers a few accommodations at one address. My review relates to what she calls "25m Studio". The location is great. It is about 15 minutes walk to the town centre, 5 minutes to a large supermarket and 8 minutes walk to the Wellington Quarry. The property was cleaned well prior to our arrival.. 😢: There was no WiFi, despite the property description promised free WiFi and there was a note in the property with the network name (SFR_****) and password. The problem was that there was no such network at all! And the host did not even respond to my question about the WiFi problem. The free public parking across the road is busy in daytime on week days - you may struggle to find a place to park. Although the property was cleaned well, the general state of repair is quite poor. Some electric plugs didn't work. There is nowhere to hang your coat/jacket downstairs. And - if you want to have a glass of wine in the property - you have to bring your own corkscrew - there is none in the kitchen :( ! And I suppose the host could note in the message with the explanation of how to get into the property that the there is a light switch right on the left as you enter the front door from the outside..

😊: Location was good. Breakfast was okay. Bathroom was clean.. 😢: Fold out bed was not clean. Food crumbs and hair (possibly pet hair) were on the bed cover. Stairway and main room smelled musty and unclean. Dish towel appeared used and unwashed. Eating utensils appeared to be unwashed from previous use. There was no curtain on kitchen window. The main room was cramped once the fold out bed was opened. Street noise was an issue..
