Jolie villa "LA VASSAL" calme avec piscine privée à Cassis

It was the perfect place for us to spend the weekend while on a two week sales trip from the USA. Spent the weekend hiking the callanques. Weather was great and it was a nice break from our business activities.

We had a good rest in a very pleasant environment. Thank you Vanessa for the goodjcare.

While the property is lovely, the owner is horrible. She ruined our south of France experience. Bad ant problem in kitchen, wasps dive bombing the pool. We were told it was normal. Only one half rolls of tp given for each bath. One towel per person. No pool towels and we were told inside towels could not be used outside so we were unable to use the pool. We had to beg for a broom, otherwise we could have spent our days with dead ants (from us spraying) all over the floor and counter. Owner made us feel like we were unwelcome and in boot camp with all of the “you can’t do’s”. On a happier note, my daughter had rented another place close by and didn’t have any of these problems so we spent a lot of time at that property. My suggestion is to look around before you book this place.

The villa is spacious and well equipped with 3 large bedrooms with individual AC in each. One room has an en-suite bath, and there is in addition a large bathroom and a smaller WC. We are a family of 5, and felt we had all the space we needed and more. The outside is very nice with a pool and a lot of space. There is plenty of furniture and sun beds, parasols and an outdoor dining table where we ate all our meals. The villa is located a short distance outside Cassis proper. We would not recommend this for someone without a car, but in the end we walked into town on most occations. Our hostess Vanessa gave us great service with excellent communication. We recommend this property without reservations and will be happy to visit again.
