L'Acanthe, Family home in Baie de Somme

😊: Such a lovely house in a beautiful area of France, and I think it was even nicer than the photos show. It felt like a home rather than a house - with a well equipped kitchen, good laundry facilities and even some toys for our toddler to enjoy. The living space was particularly lovely, and if the weather had been a bit warmer we would have spent lots of time in the spacious garden.. 😢: It would have been helpful to have some a welcome booklet with basic details, including about the heating - it was a little cool in the mornings and evenings and we weren't sure how it worked. But I also didn't message the host to ask, so not their fault either - the host was very responsive when we did message!.

😊: The place was beautiful, in a lovely little village with a shop only 5 minutes drive away. There was a lot of space for the 3 of us. The garden was huge and we enjoyed picking and eating the cherries in the garden. My daughter loved all the toys there as well as the 2 swings in the garden and the trampoline. We will definitely be back! The kitchen was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more.. 😢: Nothing.
