A peaceful vacation in an...<br>#128578; Everything was perfect. Pascal was really helpful and kind. The house is a hidden gem in the forest. It's a peacful, quite area in the forest, and I enjoyed my coffee on the terrace with a nice view of a valley every morning.<br>#128577; -

Nous souhaitions quelques jours de repos dans un cadre agréable, nous avons été comblés. Le gîte est vraiment accueillant, fort bien disposé et aménagé. Tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi. Pascal est discret et serviable. Satisfaction sans aucune réserve.

3 jours de calme dans un gîte magnifique. Nous avons adoré cette propriété un peu isolée, cachée dans les bois… Un accueil chaleureux de Pascal. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps… Adresse conservée précieusement. 😉

We were welcomed warmly by the owner who showed us around. The property is well equipped but the external areas need better maintenance which is not reflected in the photographs. The cottage is very quaint as shown in the photographs. It is on a very steep site with steps and stairs that would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

The very thick walls made the cottage bearable even in a heatwave. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable and the kitchen is better-equipped than almost any holiday cottage we've been to. The group of holiday lets cluster around the owner's home high above a tree-filled valley. It is so peaceful you can hear the bells on the goats nearby. It's a short way out of Entraygues-sur-Truyere, so we didn't eat out much, but the local food culture is strong - you must, above all, try 'aligot', the potato, garlic and cheese speciality. Most trips out involved windy roads along the Lot valley or up over the hills, but there are many fascinating places within an hour's journey. We would happily return.
