😊: Self check in. Free street parking right in front of apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Bed linen and towel were clean. Spacious room.. 😢: Host wanted upfront security deposit outside of Booking.com platform and I had to remind her to release the blocked money (120e). Security deposit was unblocked after a week. Not flexible about security deposit and wont give us checkin code even thought our booking was confirmed and paid. Upon questioning she said this is their normal operation even though it is against Booking.com rules. Could only speak French. Bathroom not in good condition and flush wont work properly. Very cold and poorly insulated apartment. Main heater temperature locked and couldn't be changed. Not child friendly furniture (glass tables). Checkout process (after cleaning) very hectic..

😊: The apartment is in an excellent location for an overnight stop en route from the UK to the Alps. Easy access to the A26, lovely quiet on street parking and a short wander to the town centre. We received clear and easy to follow check in / check out instructions (there are no on site owner or staff). The apartment was very clean, and the kitchen well equipped. A good value for money stay for 2 people, and excellent value for 4, so long as all 4 are happy sleeping in the same room. We really appreciated the attention to detail, for example recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. We hope to visit again.. 😢: The building is old and slightly tatty..
