😊: Spacious, easy parking, close to town, shops and chateau.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Not applicable. 😢: That I had to pay for sheets or use my own. Lucky I had something with me, but I didn't like that..

😊: Great location to explore some of the Loire castles (Chambord, Blois for example). Large supermarket (Auchan) nearby, including some other shops. Short drive to Blois just on the other side of the river. Kitchen well stocked (although an oven would be nice to have). Fast WiFi. Garage with bikes to use.. 😢: Unfortunately, when we arrived, the flat smelled of wet dog and there were dog hairs all over, even on the couch which was were I slept. We had to hover before we could put down any of our stuff. The smell didn't really go away during our stay. I don't really understand all the good reviews about cleanliness - the flat was not very clean in general (e.g. toothbrush cups - looked like they had never been cleaned). The bed linens had hair on them, I am not sure if they were washed after the last guests, and the mattress of the sleeping sofa had a lot of hair on it, as well. The kettle still had old water in it. The fact that you have to pay extra for bedding - obviously, when I choose a holiday apartment, I don't usually have my bedding with me! It costs 20€ extra which I had not seen at the time of the booking. The sleeping sofa is creaking with the slightest move, so if you are a light sleeper, not great. During our last night, one of the other neighbours played loud music all night, doors were slammed, people went up and down the stairs. He came to ask if we heard anything in the morning and apologised when I told him I wasn't happy - but didn't really turn down the music afterwards, so in the end it was playing non-stop from around midnight to 8:00 in the morning..

😊: The kitchen is fully equipped, the flat is nicely decorated and quite comfortable. The owners offer in the price electric bicycles stored in the garage. It is slightly out of the town of Blois but conveniently located to access Blois and the chateaux of Chambord and Cheverny. A pleasant stay overall.. 😢: There was small print I did not notice, that the appartment does not provide bedsheets, duvet cover and towels. To get them you need to pay extra, 20 euros, for 2 people for a stay of 2 nights, so beware! Also the temperature control of the flat was set to summer, not adjusted to the season, at 11 C at night, so we felt a bit cold in there in the evening..

Exceptionnel<br>#128578; L'emplacement est super si vous souhaitez visiter des châteaux ! Facilité pour se garer et un supermarché se trouve à quelques minutes du logement. La petite attention des propriétaires avec la boîte de biscuits était très sympathique ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
