😊: Easy to find, with the lockbox clearly located right by the entrance. The flat looks just like the photos and is situated in a quiet area at night, yet very central in Montignac—just a one-minute walk to bakeries and cafés. Free parking is available within a two-minute walk. The kitchen is fully equipped, the pricing is reasonable, and the host is very responsive online.. 😢: The flat was not as clean as expected. There was a lot of dust in the corners, and a strong smell of humidity hit us as soon as we entered. The toilets were full of limescale, and the shower was clogged with hair from previous guests. The mattress and pillows smelled unpleasant and had stains and leftover hair, even though the bedsheets had been changed—the odor still lingered. While the kitchen was fully equipped (cutlery, pans, coffee machine, etc.), there were absolutely no basics provided to ease our arrival—not even a bottle of water, a coffee pod, a roll of toilet paper, some soap, or a sponge for the dishes. It’s not ideal to have to go to Aldi for a full grocery run right after arriving, especially when you're only staying for a few days and arrived by plane. Additionally, the host's instructions asked us to leave the flat spotless, with specific guidance to hoover and mop. However, no cleaning products were provided (not even one bin bag) —and again, the flat wasn’t clean to begin with. Overall, it felt more like camping than staying in a holiday rental..
