L'appartement duplex de la Roquette centre historique Arles - Two-Bedroom Apartment

😊: There was every modern convenience in the apartment Was also able to make contact with owners when needed to get assistance for minor problem. Also the air conditioning on very hot days were a boon.. the apartment situated in the 'old' quarter of the city was ecxiting, within walking distance to the centre & to visit other venues. Loved the charming alley ways/ streets in the area & surround, within easy reach of restaurants, cafès & convenience stores.. 😢: The stairs to the apartment for mature guests was a challenge particularly in the heat. The beds in the attic bedroom are better suited to children/ teenagers rather than mature adults...also had to stoop to enter the bedroom...to avoid the low beam at entrance..

😊: A very pleasant, well equipped apartment. The instructions and messaging from the hosts were friendly and clear. The location was perfect for exploring Arles and for using public transport to and from the train station. It was very clean and peaceful.. 😢: The only toilet /bathroom was accessed through one of the bedrooms. Not ideal if you are not a close family unit. There are two flights of stairs to the apartment, with a section without a handrail. Not a problem if you are nimble, but we are in our 70s, and despite being fit, we found them tricky. We should have checked before booking. The pillows need upgrading as they were lumpy...
