L'échappée de Chambord

😊: Charming little apartment which is part of an old historic house. I really liked the decor and the cleanliness of the location. The host is very responsive and helpful in case of need, so really appreciated this aspect also. The location itself is close to several castles, but you need a car to drive around, the parking is not a problem.. 😢: It was quite an adventure to get past the main entrance door, since this one is on the older side and has some quirks, but with the host's help we made it. I really recommend sending the little video to everyone from the start, to spare them from trying to get in without success..

😊: Very comfortable apartment, beautifully renovated with private car park. Lovely bathroom, air-conditioning, comfy bed and a well laid out kitchen make for a great home base for visiting all the wonderful places in the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend and will stay here again when in this area..

😊: We loved the decor, comfort and cleanliness. A really lovely overnight stay. We went into Blois for the evening. It was a really memorable visit. Gorgeous dinner, hot air balloons and street music.. 😢: We couldn’t get the free channels on the television to work so my partner had to watch the England football match in World Cup on his phone 😊 Host was responsive on phone but couldn’t in the end help us..

😊: Spotless and newly renovated apartment. Well equipped and excellent shower. Parking on site. Short walk to very good restaurant.. 😢: It would have been nice to have an outside space but rather tricky with a first floor apartment! Main road outside has some traffic but not at night..
