😊: We stayed with 2 families (tot 8 guests) for a week. Great location: very nice property. + Very kind hosts that went beyond what one normally could expect when we arrived. Showed us around and offered some cool presents at arrival. Surprisingly, we could also use basic kitchen stuff for cooking, so we wouldn't have needed to bring our own. + The house and garden is great and actually better than the photos suggest, another plus! + By car, you can visit both several small villages as well as cities, incl. Annecy (45 mins) / Lake Annecy. A number of activities are within close range (hiking in the mountains, adventure parks, water parks, etc) + Also recommended is some driving through the scenery, incl. e.g. the Colombière (30 mins) or any other mountains + There is an excellent bakery in the village, highly recommended. + Great place as well to view the night skies due to very limited light pollution. + Hosts helped us out remotely when we had a small problem with the electricity. All in all, highly recommended! Thanks!. 😢: With the surprisingly hot weather during our stay, a pool in the garden would have been nice! (just kidding!). :) The house is located in a small village, which means you need to realise a car is required for most activities (with out without kids), shopping, etc. ; you need to drive around a bit by car, but all within range (e.g. groceries only a 10 mins by car), so not really a minus, just something to be aware of. . However, this was all well known upfront to us, so we enjoyed the calmness of the location isntead..
