😊: nice little stay place for one or two nights. 😢: lacks a bit of comfort space.

😊: The location is very pretty with an outlook over the walkable next village of Perouges. We chose for accessing nearby Lyon by the also walkable train station which we intended to also visit Geneva & Annecy. The hosts have thoughtfully decorated and equipped the accommodation and live beside so are around to speak to if required. The town is very nice with lots of shops and feels a safe and happy location. Lyon is only a short trainride with frequent trains which was all very easy.. 😢: You will need insect repellent as being in the countryside & heat there were many insects that bit us! The walk into main part of town is on quite a hill which was fine for us but worth considering. The layout of the kitchen could be improved to aid self catering. It was well equipped and tastefully presented but a worktop adjoining the sink/cooking rings would make a positive addition. The beds were not that comfortable..
