L'écume des jours VUE MER

😊: Beautiful apartment in a lovely historic building with lots of character and personal touches, and in a fabulous location..

😊: The building is full of character and has been nicely decorated inside. The location is great - very close to the beach and market.. 😢: It was unfortunate that the large funfair was in place when we were there. It is very bright with flashing lights until the early morning and loud. There was an unpleasant smell in the back bedroom on arrival that came and went. No bed linen was provided for the second bedroom which meant the first night was spent sleeping on a towel and a duvet with no cover. Not nice or ideal. This was dealt with on the second day but this bedding should be as standard in a 2 bedroom apartment. The sofa bed is not very comfortable either. The curtains provided in the main bedroom aren’t enough to keep out the glaring funfair lights and no curtains are provided in the main space. All the windows needed cleaning..

😊: Lovely property, clean and bright with views over the sea. Very central and nice furnishings. Comfortable beds.. 😢: Noise and lights from fairground is worth mentioning at this time of year. The entrance area and hallway is a little run down. It would be good if the hosts could provide more information on the local area and on the building, such as fire safety information, if there is a carbon monoxide alarm, local shops opening times and information on taxis and bus routes to ferry etc would be helpful. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and the children appreciated the toy box..
