L'Eden des Cévennes

😊: Great location. Clean & beautifully decorated, with good orientation for afternoon/evening sunshine with private and comfortable sitting outside areas. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, great beds, good showers, lovely sitting out areas, and jacuzzi an added bonus. The location is very good; Pont de Montvert is a scenic village with basic amenities. Carrefour in Florac is a 15-20 minute drive away and has everything required. The property is private and has a great view across the valley.. 😢: Access! We read the reviews and considered our booking carefully and looked on Google Satellite View. We have a long-wheelbase VW Transporter and were carrying a motorbike. The public access road isn't too bad because it's quiet and the tight turn onto the private track of the property just requires careful negotiation, but heading upwards from this there are two concrete tracks with a tight turn at the top and on the motorbike it was especially difficult because of the slippery gravel in between. A lot of money has been spent on the property but getting to it falls short. Also, only a minor quibble, but we only had one bath towel each and hand towels also would have been appreciated..
