L'emplacement est fantastique, distance de marche en Juan Les Pins et Antibes

We were looking for a large property for a family celebration - we needed lots of bedrooms and had a spread of ages. 8 adults and 7 kids between 9 years and 4 months old Lise’s place and welcome were just excellent. There’s enough space to spread out and enough outside space and toys to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed the location - most days we took a walk into the town or to the beach which are easy, and there’s plenty of supermarkets, bakeries and other shops to find everything you need. Restaurants nearby are excellent and plentiful. You’ll pay for them but you’re in the South of France so you need to expect that. Uber works really well, and everyone took rides to old Antibes and other places, which again was easy and pretty cheap. The review is five stars because the house was exactly what we expected and needed, and because even though we had a couple of issues, they were all sorted out quickly and effectively by Lise with no questions or delays. She really is great! The house is a little tired and could do with some TLC, but again no dangers or problems at all and nothing that ruined the trip. If you want a large house, lovely pool, great location and excellent host then this is the place.

The house was exactly like the pictures. The outdoor area was amazing and really nice location with short walks to both Antibes and Juan Les Pins. The House deserves a little facelift and the cleaniness when we arrived could have been bit better but all in all we had a great stay and will return if we get the possibility

Both villa and hosts exceptional. No need for car train station very close. Quiet area.

Fantastic stay at this Villa.. Lise and Jon were exceptional hosts and the property equalled their service .. it is a perfect property for friends / family (16 in our case). The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage with air con in each room. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Fresh towels provided for bathrooms and for round the pool. Can’t fault it… Walking distance from just le Pins train station and several supermarkets. The beach and Antibes are really great. Pool / hot tub are great for cooling off or chilling out round the sun deck. Massive Thanks to the owners and Jon / Lise for hosting us - will be back !!!! 5star every day of the week 👍

The house is very nice, the pool was popular with the children. It takes about 10-15 minutes to go to the bakary and the Spar market. We also walked to the Picasso museum and that took 40 minutes with young children. Late July may not be the optimal because of the heat, but we can recommend this house and Lise was very helpful.

Our big familiy with of 14 with adults, teenagers and children stayed in this villa in October. The location is ideal for short walks to both Anitbes centre and Juan Les Pins centre and was a perfect spot for us. We had cars and travelled in the Cote de Azure regions at day, and took the walks to the nearby centres for Restaurants in the evening. The area is calm and quiet and the house has a lot of space for a big family. The pool and outside area is nice but some minor upgrades might be needed on the turf. All in all the house served our needs in all areas. The welcome and contact during the stay with Lise was excellent.

The villa was as good as we expected and was just as described in the ad. We were really pleased that the top floor had been opened so the 7 of us had a bedroom each and no-one had to share. We thought the villa's location was excellent, on a quiet road but within easy walking distance into Juan Les Pains and the train station. Also the walk into Antibes wasn't too far. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Joyeux for a holiday in the South of France. We did have a couple of minor niggles - there wasn't a hairdryer in the villa or tea towels but these were brought for us. Also the kettle became very tempremental so we had to boil water in a pan which wasn't ideal. We didn't really feel it was up to us to go and purchase another kettle. The BBQ hadn't been cleaned either. Finally, it would have been nice to have met Lise before we left for the airport just to go round the villa and check everything but we understand she was unavoidably detained at another property. However, these are just minor details and we all had a really great holiday.

We were so excited to spend a family holiday in Anitbes. We are a large family with all ages and this was such a great property for us. The setting around the pool was just what we needed as we spent most of our holiday there. Heated pool and jacuzzi were a huge plus. We walked into Juan les Pins and Antibes several nights for dinner - we hardly drove anywhere actually as everything is so close by. We also walked to the beaches. The property was well equipped, great size bedrooms. We had one issue with the dishwasher and the manager dealt with it immediately. Do recommend maybe having some outdoor children's toys, as there is grassy garden area. If we come back to this area, we would definitely look at coming back here.
