😊: Very stylish and comfortable apartment. Very central.. 😢: No hand towel, no hand soap..

😊: Superb location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet at night. WiFi was good. It was equipped with most things we needed, however, it was the first apartment we have ever encountered to not offer anything else, no kitchen paper towel, no salt & pepper, no cooking paper, not even one dishwasher tablet. Being able to park in the underground parking station was a bonus, and only a short stroll to the apartment. Curtains and blinds provided privacy from the surrounding apartments. The courtyard was a lovely place to take breakfast, lunch or an aperitif on the weekends, or after weekday business hours.. 😢: The small double bed is a bit snug and not very comfortable. The apartment lacked some usual basics like kitchen paper towels, salt & pepper, cooking paper - not even one dishwasher tablet was offered. The bathroom linen provided was basic, there were no hand towels. As reported by others, the front door was the only source of fresh air and could lead to stuffiness if closed during the day. It could not remain open as a business office is being run from the apartments beside and above. The constant foot traffic between apartments, loud conversations and smoking just outside our front door was not pleasant. You should not step out of your door to be greeted by cigarette butts. The check-in instructions supplied by the hosting agency were confusing and incomplete. A vital photograph explaining the access was not supplied -  it was only sent after contacting the hosting agency multiple times. The address mentioned -  21 rue Jehan Pocquet - is incorrect and confusing - it does not exist - photo provided. Is a different address. We wasted a very frustrating hour because of this ambiguity and inadequate instructions .. NOT HAPPY.

😊: The apartment was in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the old city of Chartres in a very quiet street. It felt very secure, as it is positioned in a courtyard which is accessed by a door code. The weather was very hot during our stay, but because the accommodation is in a shady corner it always felt cool, and we had no trouble sleeping. The layout of the apartment is very clever, so it felt spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, although we never used the cooking facilities. The bathroom is well laid out with a great shower, and there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Communication with the hosts was easy and the couple of queries that we had were answered promptly. The fact that parking was included was a huge bonus.. 😢: Nothing..

😊: A very smart apartment, with tasteful decorations. Ideally situated for the city, we didn't need our car during our stay. Very quiet location, in a courtyard. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathroom has a generous shower. Perfect for visiting the historic city..

😊: The property was beautifully located in the centre of Chartre, it was clean and tastefully decorated to a high standard, incorporating the old structure with a more modern decor. Had every facility one would need, dishwasher, iron, kettle, coffee mach, washer, dishwasher..etc etc..
