😊: Pool, clean and a good try at shabby chic! Great personal management! 👏🏼 “gîte” was very clean and had a great comfortable bed and high quality towels.. 😢: Not as per the images, although due to heat we stays in the “gîte” which was positive experience..

😊: - the apartment is very spacious and clean - good location. 😢: - It's a re-compartmented apartment, with some plasterboard walls on the inside. The solution adopted to put the toilet right in the living room/kitchen is not the most inspiring. Moreover, it is not well thought out. The toilet cubicle is very small. A larger person cannot even use the toilet bowl. They can hit their head on the door. - The apartment was very noisy. The bedroom faced the main street and at 5am you would wake up to the garbage truck and morning traffic. Even with the windows closed you could hear all the noises as if they were right next to you..

😊: The bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine.. 😢: Difficult to find as was given wrong address to start with, once in were told to look for flat called ‘Chic’ see picture!!! The toilet is tiny and opens directly into living kitchen area, no fan. Kitchen utensils - no bottle opener in France!!!! Had to ask a neighbour to borrow one….! Fridge had leaked alover the floor when we’d arrived! Lack of wine glasses. Key code difficult to understand - be nice to have in English and maybe Dutch. Staircase very wind y and difficult to carry cases up, also not very well soundproofed as sounds from upstairs bedroom sounded as if a young married couple!.
