L'Horizon - Domaine du Vertendre

😊: Joost and Ilonka were wonderful hosts, they have an amazing property with beautiful scenery and an abundance of activities. I was especially impressed with all of the little touches they arranged for our small children (a fun paddling pool set out under the shade of the huge walnut tree, little toys and playmats and great cots and high chairs). Do not miss the opportunity for a dinner cooked by Joost - we enjoyed two and both were fantastic!.

😊: L’Horizon is such a wonderfully relaxing place to visit. Joost and Ilonka were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Joost is an amazing chef and prepared some delicious meals for us which we all enjoyed. The location is perfect. Very peaceful surroundings with amazing views. The pool and bar were lovely extras that we all enjoyed. Very close to the lovely little town of Saint Yrieix la Perche. A must do at their recommendation was a visit to the night market at Segur le Chateau…a taste of authentic France! We were so sad to leave and planning our return visit already.. 😢: Nothing.
