😊: What a beautiful house, set in some of the quietest countryside you could imagine The house has everything you could need for a a self catering holiday It was immaculately clean on arrival and stayed nice and cool during the day even during the high temperatures The outside seating area is perfect for breakfast and al fresco dining The bedrooms and are a great size as so are the bathrooms There are many amazing towns and attractions nearby as well as good supermarkets for everything you need The Beauval zoo really was incredible and going on a Monday meant that it was quite This really is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting Great for nature lovers too as we saw many rare birds of an evening as well as Hares running around the garden. 😢: The showers are mounted a bit low as being just over 6 foot they weren’t high enough but perhaps this is common in France Also some more hangers and hanging space for clothes would have been useful but these are minor complaints that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the house.

😊: In a great location and the house was really nice. The outside area was spacious and we had great barbecues. Lovely walks direct from the house and great location to visit lots of chateaux. Well equipped - also ideal for children and disabled visitors. The house is attached to a larger house - luckily is wasn’t occupied at the time we were there (just be aware there could be privacy issues especially on the rear terrace if occupied). 😢: The flies which were very hard to get rid of especially in the kitchen/utility. It was very hot in the upstairs rooms - fans were provided but still unbearable at times..

😊: It was clean, comfortable and had almost everything we needed. Plenty of space for 2 dogs and great area for walking and sightseeing.. 😢: The bathroom upstairs could have done with a stool or chair to sit and dry yourself. Being a bad back sufferer. Also would have been good to have 2 sinks in the kitchen not 1 or 1 in the utility..
